Thetford Fridge PCB Test / Repair

For Thetford fridges models Compatible with N97, N100, N104, N109, N112, N145, N150, N175, N180 (must have LCD display on fridge). For fridges with 691136 or 691137 R2G style power board - see picture

Please note: some models of power board were glued into the plastic enclosure, if the circuit board assembly cannot be removed from the plastic enclosure I will not be able to repair it.

Thetford have discontinued supply of these Power boards and until now the only solution was to replace the complete fridge.

The listing is for testing (not repair) of your Thetford fridge board. If a fault is found during the testing, there will be a further charge to repair the fault, please include a telephone number with your PCB and you can pay by card over the phone once repaired and fully tested.

Simply checkout on the listing and send your piggy back PCB assembly to Premier Tech Services Ltd, Unit 14 Littleton Business Park, Littleton Drive, Cannock, Staffordshire WS12 4TR, please include your name and a contact number. Ensure that all wires are removed from the PCB, if you want to send the PCB in the original plastic enclosure for protection then that is OK.

I offer 2 levels of service. The most common problem with these boards is that it fails to detect the flame on gas and although the fridge lights, it goes out after about 20 Seconds and reports a fault code 9. If these are your symptoms and you are certain that the fridge operates OK on 12VDC and 230VAC then you can select the lower cost “Gas Only Test”. If you have other faults or you want us to check out all 3 modes then you need to select the “Comprehensive Test”. Repairs will normally be completed within 3-4 days.

For a Gas only test / repair, the initial test fee is £42 and the additional repair fee will be £120 making a total of £162 plus return postage.
For a Comprehensive test / repair, the initial test fee is £48 and the additional repair fee will be £138 making a total of £186 plus return postage.  (Prices include VAT)

Please ensure that your PCB is similar to one of those in the listing picture, if yours is not listed then please call me.

Ensure it is protected from normal postage handling.
It helps us if you enclose a name and contact telephone number and nature of fault with the PCB.
Do not send any wiring or looms, these do not fit in our custom return packaging.

The following conditions apply

1. If the board substrate itself (i.e. the green bit) is mechanically damaged / snapped or cracked we may not be able to economically repair it.

2. If the board is corroded or been the subject of a chemical spillage then we may not be able to economically repair it.
